I did a pumpkin carving. I took a picture from a book of pumpkin carvings and challenged myself to redraw it without tracing it onto the pumpkin. Then I carved it. This is the second time I've carved a pumpkin and it surprisingly took longer than I expected. I also carved out candy shadows on the back of the pumpkin! It turned out surprisingly well!

This is a comic I made for English class in the subject of satire. I experimented with character design on this one!
I'm so jealous of this. I can't even carve a pumpkin with a stencil, let alone without one. Amazing job!
ReplyDeleteI know same. What Ally said. This is SO COOL! I also love how you drew candy shadows!
ReplyDeleteWow, Elena, this looks like it was very difficult! I love that you chose a seasonal approach to the project-still an absolutely viable solution to a 2D Design assignment!
